Disney+: Every New Movie & TV Show Coming In September 2020

In September 2020, Disney+ will bring more episodes of its original series, movies from the Fox package, and the live-action version of Mulan.


In September 2020, Disney+ will add new TV shows and movies to its catalogue, and while it’s not as much as in previous months, the platform will welcome the highly-anticipated live-action version of an animated classic. Although the coronavirus pandemic continues, many theaters around the world are preparing to reopen, but there are still many movies scheduled to be released on different streaming platforms, among those Disney+. The Mouse House’s platform continues adding new content every month, mostly new episodes of its original series, but also some movies and TV shows from the vault of nostalgia.

Last month, Disney+ welcomed movies like The Greatest ShowmanBeauty & the Beast (2017), Fantastic Four, and Ant-Man and the Wasp, along with new movies like Phineas and Ferb the Movie: Candace Against the UniverseThe One and Only IvanMagic Camp, and the documentary Howard. This month, the platform will welcome more titles that came in the Fox package, along with new episodes of some of its original series, more content from National Geographic, and some Disney classics.

However, the biggest addition to Disney+ this month will be the live-action version of a beloved animated classic that went through many delays due to the coronavirus emergency and has found its home in the platform – but under special conditions.   • Live-action version of the 1998 animated classic. The story centers around the eldest daughter of an honored warrior who steps in to take the place of her ailing father. Directed by Niki Caro and starring Liu Yifei, Donnie Yen, Jason Scott Lee, Yoson An, Gong Li, and Jet Li.
